It's About Drought and Doubt

I pray for rain, but all in vain.
I pray to keep sane, but my brain still fills with pain.
And never seems to drain just gain and gain.
more and more ....

So I pray for peace and still there is war.
I pray for wealth and yet I am poor.
I pray for health while at death's door.
I pray for more and more .

I pray for strength when all seems bleak.
And am still weary and weak.
I pray for this world to be inherited by the meek.
And for the wisdom that I seek,
While up this paddle without a creek.

Mirror Mirror

A mirror can be quite a useful tool and seem to feel quite nice and cool,
But don't be like that narcissistic fool, who thought himself the grandest jewel.
But looked too long and fell into that drowning pool.
Where the world seemed so cold and cruel,
And no one remembers the golden rule. Unless it be the one not taught in school,
That he who has the gold makes the rule.

Another snowshoe with the Muttley crew, this one brand new.

Not a boo hoo in the bunch as we stop for lunch.

To have a quick munch.

And then without fail its back on the trail to complete our tale.
